Lewis McFadyen

Lewis is an engineer who spent years in South China factories sweating the details of products from the first pencil sketches and delicate prototypes through to the assembly lines. By focusing on customers from blue chip companies that spanned multiple verticals he grew depth and breadth in both process and design experience. He cut his teeth with Dyson in the UK and continued in R&D concept development, leadership and strategy in both corporate and startup settings. Lewis also led engineering with the startup Origami Labs, creating B2C and B2B products and services by harnessing the power of connected devices in the new voice assistant space. He joined early and weathered it through crowdfunding, production runs and seed and series A investments. As a father of two, an avid dragon boat paddler and endurance sports dabbler, Lewis brings insight in ideation and a passion to engineer high impact meaningful products as CTO. Although originally from London, England, Lewis has travelled extensively around the world and has been based in Hong Kong for over ten years.
